Fund Accountants

BFG is seeking applicants to fill Fund Accountant positions across its global network of offices. Led by experienced professionals, BFG is committed to quality information, technology, and processes. The successful applicant must be self-motivated with a finance industry focus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide a full range of fund accounting services to clients, including NAV preparation, reviewing corporate actions, verifying security pricing, performing cash and security position reconciliations.
• Provide a complete range of fund administration services to clients and investors, including anti-money laundering compliance procedures and liaising with managers, brokers and custodians.
• Provide superior customer service to clients and investors
• Participate in various system initiatives and projects

Qualifications:

• Completion of undergraduate studies with a focus in finance, economics or accounting
• Accounting experience, or background in hedge/mutual fund accounting are valuable
• Insurance/reinsurance knowledge is an asset
• Exceptional PC skills, with strengths in the Microsoft Office suite of products a definite asset
• Strong time management and organizational skills and a dedicated team player
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
